1. Consent
By registering with MISUMI Europa GmbH, you make your personal data available to the company via a specific application for the purpose of looking for a job. Your data will be stored and processed in the systems of our software provider Personio.

2. Privacy and Confidentiality
Data protection is an important concern for us. MISUMI Europa GmbH and the software partner Personio have taken the necessary organizational and technical measures to ensure the confidentiality of your application. All employees of the human resources department as well as our software partner are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding personal data as part of their employment relationship. Thanks to an automatically activated 128-bit encryption, a secure transmission of your data is ensured. When processing data, the general standards for data security are taken into account according to the current state of the art.

3. Use of your personal information
During the application process, in addition to title, surname and first name, the usual correspondence data such as postal address, e-mail address and telephone numbers are stored in the applicant database. In addition, application documents such as a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, professional, training and further education qualifications and job references are recorded.
This data is only stored, evaluated, processed or forwarded internally as part of your application. They are only accessible to employees of the human resources department and the persons responsible for the selection at MISUMI Europa GmbH. Under no circumstances will your data be passed on to companies or persons outside of MISUMI Europa GmbH or used for other purposes.
The data can be processed for statistical purposes (e.g. reporting). It is not possible to draw any conclusions about individual persons.

4. Right to information
With a request for information, you can request information about which data about you is being processed. Please address this to our data protection officer at dataprotection@misumi-europe.com.
You always have the option of accessing your electronic data, changing it or deleting your data yourself.

5. Storage and Deletion of Data
If you take up a job at MISUMI Europa GmbH, your personal data will be placed in your personnel file. If you have applied but received a rejection notice, your data will be deleted after approximately 3 months (Profile and application). There is no notification of the deletion of the data.
If you have applied but we cannot offer you a suitable position at this time, you have the option of adding your data to our talent pool for 12 months. You can simply give your consent in your profile by ticking the box. Your account will remain active for you for another 12 months.

Processing of (personal) data by the operator of the recruitment website

General information

This recruitment website is operated by Personio SE & Co. KG, which offers a human resource and candidate management software solution (https://www.personio.com/legal-notice/). Data transmitted as part of your application will be transferred using TLS encryption and stored in a database. The sole controller of this data within the meaning of article 24 of the GDPR is the enterprise carrying out this online application process. Personio’s role is limited to operating the software and this recruitment website and, in this context, being a processor under article 28 of the GDPR. In this case, the processing by Personio is based on an agreement for the processing of orders between the controller and Personio. In addition, Personio SE & Co. KG processes further data, some of which may be personal data, to provide its services, in particular for operating this recruitment website. We will refer to this in more detail below.
