IT Security Risk & Compliance Coordinator (m/f/d)

Your role and responsibilities

  • Drive IT Security Governance:You identify and analyze regulatory, internal, and security requirements and translate them into actionable initiatives. You work closely with Legal, service and system owners, as well as internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective implementation.
  • Lead Security Projects & Initiatives:You plan and manage cross-functional IT security projects from initiation to completion. You define project scope, timelines, and deliverables while monitoring progress and proactively addressing risks, gaps, and delays.
  • Audits, Risk & Compliance:You coordinate IT audits and risk assessments, ensuring proper preparation, documentation, and ownership of security controls. You actively track audit findings and remediation actions to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Act as Central Security Interface:You serve as the primary point of contact for IT security coordination, facilitating collaboration between IT teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and auditors while promoting security awareness across the organization.
  • Own the Security Backlog:You maintain a structured overview of open security initiatives, risks, and controls. By driving clear accountability and stakeholder alignment, you ensure the timely delivery of security initiatives with the expected quality and scope.

Your profile

  • You have a degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a comparable qualification.
  • You excel at stakeholder management and build strong relationships acrossdifferent functionsand organizational levels.
  • You drive topics forward with confidence, even without formal authority, and ensure consistent follow-up untilobjectivesare achieved.
  • You communicate clearly, effectively, and diplomatically while knowing when to be assertive.
  • You thrive in ambiguous environments, take initiative, and proactivelyidentifyopportunities for improvement.
  • You have strong organizational awareness and combine persistence with a solution-oriented and collaborative mindset.
